I enjoyed reading all the responses of my previous post.
I personally think the model wore it better. It’s tailored perfectly. Jacquelyn’s teased hairstyle compliments the head/hair piece. Her hair brings out the dimension of the cube. While on Katy’s head it just looks like a random object plopped on her head. This is from a couture line and Katy just didn’t style (her hair, makeup, fit) the outfit correctly. It was definitely in her realm, she just didn’t make it look right. It’s high fashion. One of the responses was that the model looks angry, but I think she looks fierce. Jacquelyn Jablonski worked it.
I knew Katy’s outfit looked familiar. It was on the runway for Christian Dior’s Fall 2011 line.

Several points based on my observations:
- Clever that she included Rebecca Black, post her one hit wonder, ‘Friday’
- I didn’t know that was Kenny G featured on the Sax when I first heard the song.
- I love Katy Perry’s Character, Kathy Beth Terry. I’m not sure if it was for publicity following the premiere of this video but I’m hoping she remains existent even after the popularity of this single fades.
- Hey look it’s Artie (from glee), the nice guy that finishes last.
